Intervention auprès des pères séparés ayant des difficultés d’accès à leurs enfants : un exemple de pratique prometteuse

Le présent article porte sur les pratiques sociales prometteuses auprès de pères ayant des difficultés d’accès à leur enfant à la suite d’une séparation conjugale. Une recherche effectuée auprès de pères ayant utilisé les services de l’organisme Pères séparés inc. a permis de dégager quelques constats pratiques. L’étude de leurs témoignages ainsi que les observations d’intervenants et d’avocats ont permis de préciser les besoins de pères ayant des difficultés d’accès à leur enfant et les façons de les accompagner qui semblent les mieux adaptées.

This article deals with promising social practices involving fathers experiencing difficulties accessing their children following a marital separation. Research conducted with fathers who used the services of the organization “Pères séparés inc.” made it possible to elicit a few practical observations. A study of their testimonies as well as the observations of stakeholders and attorneys have made it possible to identify the needs of fathers who are having problems accessing their children as well as more suitable ways of helping them.
